For the first time ever, PS Artbooks presents Science Fiction Odyssey #1 from Skywald. Skywald's famous, never actually printed, magazine would have been the first adult SF comic since EC's Incredible Science Fiction, but the publishers, Sol Brodsky ('Sky') and Israel Waldman ('Wald') belief that SF just didn't sell and budgetary constraints, alas meant the magazine was withdrawn, although only after film had been made and just before delivery to the printers! The editor Al Hewetson managed to re-use all of the first issue's stories in the company's range of horror magazines, which is how we managed to piece together our original Science Fiction Odyssey. We've made some alterations and assumptions, but hopefully we've got the finished result fairly close to how it would have appeared over fifty years ago!

How to sign up to our subscription service:




  1. Register an account with our store (if you have previously purchased something online, you already have an account).

  2. Select your titles - choose your favorites from our massive list of titles broken down by publisher and imprints, including comics and magazines

  3. Comics can not be ordered after the "Final Order Cut Off" (or FOC) from our distributor, if you sign up for a comic, check to see if you will get the next issue, or a future issue.


Terms of Service:


Items which have been pulled for you must be paid for at least once per month. In-store customers will receive a invoice every 3rd week of the month to pay for their subscriptions and keep the account active. Mail Order customers can have their books billed and shipped weekly or once a month. Any unpaid invoices will result in a cancellation of the account.
